Project Overview

Project Description

Impacta is a program designed to foster inclusive entrepreneurship among migrants, refugees, and other vulnerable groups. Through a 5-month incubation program, Impacta offers real opportunities to those who need them the most, providing support through the following activities:

  • Training and workshops in business development and entrepreneurship.
  • Mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and professionals.
  • Networking opportunities with investors and business experts.
  • Personalized coaching to guide each participant in their entrepreneurial journey.
  • Access to resources to help participants launch and grow their ventures.

 

Impacta is a pioneering initiative created by four organizations: Catalyst 2030, Karibu, Triple, and United Way, and it is part of the Conecta Network, which is supported by Bridge for Billions.

Funding Sources

Funded through public and private partnerships, including collaborations with international agencies and foundations.

Impact And Acchievements

In its first edition in 2024, the program supported over 50 entrepreneurs, 70% of whom were women and 87% were migrants and/or refugees.

Additional notes

In 2024, United Way España launched the first edition of its inclusive entrepreneurship program, initially named Conecta Migrants & Refugees. In 2025, the program continued with the same mission, rebranding it as Impacta to better reflect its evolving goals and impact.
