The End of a Project, the Beginning of Many New Journeys
After months of collaboration, learning, inspiring conversations and meaningful encounters, the PRO-MOTE project has officially come to an end.
Looking back, we realise that PRO-MOTE has always been about much more than research, training materials or policy recommendations. It has been about people.
Throughout this journey, we met migrant entrepreneurs who transformed challenges into opportunities. We worked with researchers, educators, policymakers and organisations across Europe who share the belief that inclusion, diversity and entrepreneurship create stronger communities. Together, we explored not only the barriers migrants face, but also the enormous potential they bring to our societies.
As Project Coordinator, I am deeply grateful to every partner, stakeholder and participant who contributed to making PRO-MOTE such a meaningful European collaboration. What started as a project evolved into a community built on trust, shared values and a common vision of a more inclusive Europe.
In the accompanying video, I reflect on this journey and on the lessons we have learned together.
Alongside my message, we are also proud to share reflections from our project partners:
- Prof. Jan Brzozowski from Jagiellonian University, whose research helped us better understand migrant entrepreneurship across Europe;
- Paulina Pilipiuk from the Multicultural Centre in Kraków, sharing her experience of supporting migrants through education and integration;
- our colleagues from VHS Roma, reflecting on the importance of lifelong learning and international cooperation in building inclusive communities.
These videos represent different perspectives, but they all share one message: meaningful change happens when people work together.
Although the project has ended, its results remain freely available for everyone.
Whether you are a migrant entrepreneur, educator, policymaker, employment advisor, NGO, researcher or simply someone interested in creating more inclusive societies, we invite you to explore and use the resources developed through PRO-MOTE. Our training materials, handbook, policy recommendations, research findings and inspirational stories are designed to continue supporting migrant integration and entrepreneurship long after the project’s completion.
This is not the end of the conversation—it is an invitation to continue it.
